Procedure

Booking
and payment process:
- Complete and return
the Booking Form.
- Sign and return a copy of the Booking Conditions
Return both the Booking Form
and the signed copy of the Booking Conditions to:

You will receive a
written confirmation via e mail or by
post.
Your final payment is
due no later than 6 weeks (42 days) before the start of the
rental period. It is your responsibility to ensure that the final
payment arrives in time. (although we will send you a
reminder via e mail if you opt to pay via PayPal)
The owner will not provide
any reminders but will confirm receipt of all payments.
Please note:
We do not reserve rental dates until you actually confirm your
intention to rent. Then we must receive your booking form and deposit
within 7 days, or we will release your provisionally held
dates. We often receive many inquiries for the same time period.
Cancellation
policy and refund
Included in your
rental is:
- the
house with all its amenities including
- Sky digibox which receives free to
air stations including BBC
- DVD player and CD player with some
DVDs and CDs
- Large library of fiction and
non-fiction books including the Michelin Green Guide to
Languedoc
- Board games for all of the family
including jigsaws
- Iron and ironing board
- Utilities at no extra charge
- Bed linen and towels at no extra
charge (Generally linen is not included in French rentals but it is
sometimes available for an additional sum. We include linen and towels
in your rent)
Arrival
and departure
The house is rented from Saturday until
Saturday. The rental period begins at 4:00 p.m. on the first day and
finishes at 10:00 a.m. on the last day. You will be greeted by our
agent who will welcome you and show you around. There is a
book in the property with detailed instructions for operating the
various appliances.
Please depart no later than 10 a.m., as
other guests will be arriving that afternoon, and we need time to clean
and launder. (It may be possible to arrange a different arrival or
departure time. Please contact the Owner if this would be helpful to
you.)
On departure you should hand the keys back
to our agent and assuming the post-rental inspection [see
below] has found no problems), the Owner will return your security
deposit.
If you have a house-related
emergency or any questions then feel free to contact our agent who is
very close by.
Please contact her in case of any household
emergencies or questions during your stay.
Electricity
and water
Electricity and water are expensive so
please be considerate.
Cleaning
standards and rubbish
You are expected to leave the house in the
same clean and tidy condition as you found it when you
depart. Please empty wastepaper bins and the kitchen bin.
Take the rubbish and recyclables to the nearby collection points. Put
everything back in its place and lightly sweep the floors. Remove the
sheets and pillow cases from the beds. Leave wet towels hanging to dry.
Specific details may be found in our User’s
Guide to the House, located in the house itself. Please note: An extra
charge will be levied from the Security Deposit if the house is not
left tidy, as described in Clause #10 of the Booking Conditions
Contract and as described in our User’s Guide for
la maison du mūrier.
Flexibility
for bookings
We may be able to arrange a different start
day or a few extra days during the low season. Just ask.
